How can I apply?

Please submit your application in the registration form. If you cannot use a captcha or have issues, write us for support.

You will be asked to provide details of yourself/your Startup and Team members and the digital innovation you apply with.

Until when will I be able to apply?

The application phase will run until 29 August 2022. Please make sure you apply early enough.

Who can I contact if I have issues with the application?

If you encounter any technical problems with your application or are not sure how to fill out the registration form, please contact ICT4InclusionChallenge@atos.net. Our team is happy to assist.

I am unsure if my solution is eligible. What should I do?

Please take a look at our eligibility criteria. If you are unsure if your solution falls into the category of climate action, kindly contact our team at ICT4InclusionChallenge@atos.net and we will be happy to take a look.

Who are the organizers of this challenge?

This Challenge has been organized jointly by Atos and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) who are part of the Make-IT Alliance.

The organizers also teamed up with Zero Project and Ability Foundation to join the 2022 Indian Challenge.

What happens after I apply?

Your application will be carefully reviewed by our team at ICT4IC. You will not receive an automated confirmation e-mail of a successful application.

Challenge’s Stages

The Challenge consists of several stages:

Stage One:  Registration

June 27th, 2022 – 12 PM (CET) to August 29th, 2022– 11:59 PM (CET).

Stage Two: Pre-Selection

Inclusion experts will evaluate the submissions from August 29th, 2022 to September 6th, 2022. 12 teams will be invited for stage 3, selection interviews. All teams having successfully submitted a solution will get feedback via e-mail, latest by the start of stage 3.

Stage Three: Selection Interviews

In-depth interviews will be held from 13th to 23rd September 2022 for 12 selected teams. All the solutions will be rated according to pre-defined criteria.  3 teams will be selected for stage 4, pitch. These teams will be invited to join the ICT4IC India 2022 Accelerator Program organized by or on behalf of the sponsors.

Stage Four: Pitch 

3 selected teams must present in form of a 3-minute pitch + Q&A prototype of their innovative solution in English to a panel of top-notch jury members coming from the Sponsors and from independent Organizations. This mandatory event will take place on November 9th, 2022. The exact time and procedure will be announced by the Sponsors later during Challenge Stage 3.

Stage Five: Awards

Awards to the 3 winning teams will be presented during a public live event held at the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on December 2nd, 2022. The exact agenda will be announced by the Sponsors later during the Challenge on the webpage.

ICT4IC India Accelerator Program?

3 selected teams from stage 3 will receive tailored mentoring and advice to support the further development of their solutions. 

What is in for me?

You can benefit from taking part in this innovation Challenge in many ways. If you are one of the 4 winners, you may receive one or more of the following, based on your placement:

  • Benefit from our ICT4IC India Accelerator Program. Receive tailored mentoring and support for the further development of your product and business.
  • Win great prizes: 3500 Euro for each of the 1st-placed winners, and 1500 Euro for the second-placed teams.
  • Benefit from our public communication and outreach, making more customers aware of your product.
  • Joint Atos and GIZ in creating awareness for disability inclusion in India.
  • Benefit from our great network of experts in disability, climate, and digitalization.

I am worried about my property rights.

By submitting a Deliverable and participating in this Challenge, you are not granting Sponsors any rights to any intellectual property supporting all or part of the Deliverable and Sponsors makes no claim to ownership of your Deliverable or any intellectual property that it may contain.

I don’t have any digital innovation, but I know someone who might want to apply! / I am a disability activist and want to help with your Challenge!
